Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser is discontinued - now what?

Just a general complaint about Neutrogena- they continue to eliminate popular well working products, WTF?

I personally miss the clarifying shampoo that was pale yellow, almost clear, and removed buildup without damaging hair.

I have not - is it good for removing eye makeup?

I like this one but it’s expensive, compared to neutrogena.

I’m going to try the Olay gentle foaming. I’m a DCUM poor and can’t afford expensive cleansers. It’s $6!

I tried the Cerave cream to foam as a result of this thread and really like it! Removes most of my makeup (still need a second pass on mascara/eyeliner). Thanks PPs!

I just bought this today! I'm also a DCUM poor.

Come back to the thread after you've tried it and we can compare notes on what we thought about it.

PP didn't get the memo that gatekeeping isn't cool in 2023.

I too, have been using Neutrogena's Freshing Foaming Cleanser for years and didn't know why I could not find any on the shelves until now. I am extremely disappointed because I have tried many others in the past and cannot find one that removes makeup easily, particularly, mascara. And, I agree with a post in October, that there has never been a lack of demand. I tried the "new" Hydro Boost gel cleanser and as with others, it did not remove my mascara. I read the other recommendations, such as, Clinique, but this product is far more expensive than Neutrogena's FFC. TRULY a disappointment to where I feel like discontinuing use of any Neutrogena products going forward.

I'm having the same problem. It looks like Walmart still sells it and eBay & Amazon still have it on there too. I just bought a 4 pack for $27 on Amazon. You can buy bigger quantities and hopefully stock up while it lasts. I'm very disappointed too.

Try the Ultra Sensitive cleanser. I have used it for years. I have oily skin and it is fantastic. Cleanses without stripping.

Agree but also that shampoo ate away the plastic container that is was in . Like hard plastic literally crumbled and cracked from what was within

I'm with you OP. I also love this cleanser and was worried last summer when I couldn't find it on the shelves. At the time I checked the Neutrogena website, it wasn't mentioned as being discontinued, and I ordered several off of their website. So, I was super disappointed to learn today that it is discontinued. This is the BEST for cleansing *and* removing waterproof eye makeup and even waterproof mascara. Cant beat it for the price and I don't think the ultra gentle cleanser is nearly as good at removing makeup of any type. Guess I'll be scouring the aisles for the last of the bottles and trying new options. Worst.
