Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser is discontinued - now what?

First, for all the fans, it looks to still be available for purchase on the neutrogena website so maybe you can make like Elaine and snatch up the last of it!

Second, I knkw you said no to Neutrogena hydroboost, OP, but in case you haven’t tried it yet, I use the sensitive skin version and like it more than I thought I would. I now use the fragrance free/sensitive skin facial cleanser and body lotion of hydroboost and am a big fan.

I ordered it off the neutrogena website and they cancelled my order a few hours later

I used to use that and it's been a while, but I think this one from Paula's Choice (which I often use now) is similar:

Dr Bronner’s. I’m convinced that soap is better and we’re all still suffering from the big mid-20th century marketing push to sell detergents as cleansers. I think the skin care companies stick with it because it’s so much cheaper and they don’t want to have to fight against all the “soap is harsh” and “soap is drying” messaging. My sensitive skin does much with Dr Bronner’s than any “cleanser.” If I have a lot of makeup on, I rub some oil all over before I wash my face. Easy peasy.

Try the Drunk Elephant jelly cleanser. Same type of gel-foam formulation, works great on makeup, and is much, MUCH calmer on your skin.

I could have written this. I've been using it forever. It's the only cleanser that doesn't make me break out. I've been searching everywhere for it. I tried the new cleanser..Ultra something. I broke out, and it doesn't take the makeup off. 😞

+1. I use their hydrating cleanser on my face and the cream to foam as body wash because I have very sensitive skin. Neutrogena didn’t work for me, but CeraVe has great products.

I have used neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser for many years. When the discontinued sign appeared on this item at my local grocery store (either Safeway or HT) I bought every bottle they had. I just tried to call them (they are off for Black Friday) … I want to know what they now sell that is equal to this cleanser.

I feel your pain. I've used this for years, it's the absolute best, never broke me out or left my skin feeling tight or irritated. The Hydroboost cleanser is no good. It contains fragrance and two highly irritating, potentially damaging ingredients, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. Neutrogrena should know better!

I purchased the Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser, whose ingredients are stellar, but it's crap at getting off makeup, so now I have to find a wipe that won't irritate.

Try the Cream-to-Foam cleanser from Cerave, which is different from their Foaming Facial Cleanser.

Glossier milky jelly

The CeraVe cleanser is very good, just a small dab takes off Estée Lauder Double Wear easily

I just found a few bottles at my local Marshalls, so that might be a source to try.
