That’s the same impression I got when I watched. I also had my husband watch it and he felt the same way. My husband is also a big guy at 6’6, and said he looked like he was defending himself and his family. I think this is a non-story.

Where did you see the family?

If the video shows the entire confrontation, this is really nothing.

Yeah, it's not like he threatened a school board member. /s

His trouble now is that he can either claim DC is his home and admit he's committing residency fraud in FCPS, or he can admit he lives in VA and has committed voter fraud and broken the terms of employment (must reside in DC).

Can't wait to see this guy twist in the wind.

If his wife lists the VA house as her address, has a VA driver’s license, pays VA income tax, etc. there is no FCPS residency fraud. What he’s doing by renting a place in DC and paying DC income tax but living with his family in VA is something that numerous top level DC officials do.

It’s not residency fraud for FCPS because his wife still holds her official residence in VA. The bigger issue for him is tax fraud. He only files DC taxes in order to keep his job, but he should at a minimum file a part-year tax return with VA because he apparently spends most of his time living there.

No one hre knows what his wifes deal is. She may be rgistered to vote in NJ for all we know.

What he do know is he is in a corner because he can't control his temper. He's gonna pay dearly for that.

And as a result he should also owe income taxes to VA.

Except for the residency and/or tax fraud.

As a public servant, doesn't he need to file an annual financial report disclosing all of this including his wife's business and such?

The lady that came out, I assume his wife, and you could see a car seat/child. The guy definitely instigated with him. Funny, the guy was illegally parked in handicap

Too bad you won’t see it, because it’s a non-story

Exactly why I said it’s a non-story. You are absolutely correct.
