Diana died by carelessness.
drunk driver + paparazzi + no seatbelts = 3 dead bodies (The one survivor of the accident was wearing a seatbelt.) |
| No. That said anything is possible. I’m surprised people can be so dismissive of a assassination being made to look like a accident. |
|
OP, conspiracy theorists never believe their opinions are outlandish.
Agree with everyone else; this was an accident. |
| I don't know about Diana, but I was surprised to hear from DH and DS that they both believe Marilyn Monroe was assassinated (because her affair with JFK would ruin him). |
If the president of the united states cannot hide get a BJ in the oval office, there is no way a conspiracy of that many random people could work. Sorry. |
That would be killing the cat after it was out of the bag. |
Add to this the bad medical care. She did not get proper trauma care. Might have lived if in US. Did not get to trauma center for 90 mins |
| It was an accident. Dodi's father tried for years to prove that the Brits did it, but his investigations led nowhere. The driver was drunk and on drugs. She should have been wearing a seatbelt. The paparazzi were harassing her and the car. I think this is settled history |
There are a limited number of words that would convey the point and not be too offensive. My bet is if Diana was still alive she'd be on her 4th or 5th marriage by now and lost the respect of a lot of people. She died at a time just as things were going south but people remembered her at her best. But she was on a very self destructive path at the time. |
| I believe it was an accident. But being the royal family was certainly a long and painful death for her more broadly. |
I will say Bigfoot has let himself go and that hat he was wearing! |
| It'd be very silly to assassinate someone in a manner she would have survived if she'd been wearing a seat belt. She died because she wasn't restrained and her head hit part of the car. |

Mitchell and Webb had a great bit on this (and just how dumb it is): https://youtu.be/05oZVBOH_1Q

Do you really think the Queen made any decisions? The firm makes them and she follows. Maybe the RF had a hand, maybe not. Maybe the firm did! They knew Charles was moving forward with Camilla. It wouldn’t do for him to be King and a “mistress” at his side. Per the church, Diana and Charles were still married. Apparently even after death since Charles and Camilla had a civil ceremony not open to the public. |
Seat belt laws, were they in place back then? |
