That's a recommended time. Majority of my kids classes said there's no ASSIGNED homework, just assignments that they may have to finish at home.

The only difference is there is less max homework per class. Not no homework. They weren’t doing max before so it doesn’t seem like much will change.

My kid has already had homework assigned this year that he had to do at home. And they haven’t even gotten started on the main material. Or the iPad apps, etc.
