What one Beatles song would you play for someone who never heard of them?

For a Lennon-song: I Feel Fine

For a McCartney song: Let It Be

For a George Harrison song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps

For a Ringo Starr song: Octopus’s Garden

The Beatles made so much great music in so many different styles and moods -- it's hard to choose. But, as a late Boomer/early GenXer who grew up with the Beatles as a constant because my parents, aunts and uncles and older cousins listened to them, I'd choose either Hard Day's Night or Hey Jude. Hard Day's Night because it gives you the sense of how the Beatles sounded when they first came on the scene. (Not their first album, I know, but still early in their career as a band.) That song is almost 60 years old and yet when you hear it today, it's still impossible to resist getting up and dancing (even when you're almost 60, as I am). I'd pick Hey Jude because it's so sweet and heartfelt -- and because it was on their last album -- and because it was my dad's favorite Beatles song. I can remember singing along with him when we'd hear it on the car radio. Miss you, dad -- thanks for all the music and for your perfect pitch (even though none of us inherited it -- sigh).

I don't know if it's the one song I would play for someone, but one of my favorites:

For No one

Because that is the premise of this thread. You want to play a song that shows off all their talents not just features one or two of them. You are doing a song to introduce them to someone. An Amuse Bouche so to speak.

Helter Skelter is one of those songs.

Blackbird has always given me goosebumps. Got to hear Paul McCartney play it to an empty stadium for sound check. It was electric

1) I Want to Hold Your Hand
2) In My Life
3) Hey Jude
4) Strawberry Fields Forever
5) Don't Let Me Down

I screwed up here and forgot to include Yesterday. So six songs.
