Me too!!!!!!

Chris Redd was one I looked forward to watching on that show!!

He was very funny and I loved seeing him in those hysterical music videos!

Between him and Kenan, Kenan got the show and Chris got the wife.

Has anyone liked anything this season? I’m generally pro-SNL and have been thoroughly underwhelmed.

I liked Melissa Villasenor, but she was hit-or-miss.
Not a huge fan of Alex Moffat, but his Joe Scarborough (with Kate as Mika) was good
Never saw the appeal of Aristotle
Love James Austin Johnson - not only is his Trump is miles beyond anyone else, but does many impressions well
Weekend Update is due for a change
Bowen can be funny but lacks depth
Can't stand Sarah Sherman
Chris Redd should have stayed on for Eric Adams alone

I have to admit that the show is just not the same without Pete Davidson. Most especially his music videos. His videos were king. And I will always miss the ditzy, but hilarious “Chad.” Ha!
And I also miss Kate’s unique, extraordinary talent, Aidy’s comedic characters, Kyle’s hilarious bits as well as Chris Redd’s spot-on impersonations.
But the show is still actually funny and entertaining.

I like the four newcomers a lot.
They have great comedic talent and they are really shining this season.
I like how they already are featured in the major sketches.

Last night’s episode had me laughing out loud.
Tom Hanks was a nice surprise guest (loved his Halloween skit!) and I am so glad that other guy (former cast member) who played “Drunk Uncle” returned.
I LOVED how they finally went “there” w/the Kanye jokes, both in Weekend Update as well as that hysterical Sketchers sketch!
If they didn’t joke about Kanye - then the show would lose some credibility.

At least in my book.

But I feel like the show is slowly coming to a close end.
I do not think it has jumped the shark by any means at all…. It’s just that if SNL wants to go out “on top,” then they need to consider leaving the airwaves in the next yr or so.

I may be mistaken here…..
But I thought she played Joy Behar in last night’s “The View” skit.

I wonder if Chris’s relationship with Kenan’s ex had anything to do w/Chris’s abrupt + sudden departure from the show.

Because after all it would have been an awkward working dynamic between the two men no matter how it is looked upon.

Also, I wonder if Kenan had anything to do w/Chris getting hit in the face recently w/brass knuckles.

I mean, it is hard to imagine a guy like Chris getting assaulted by some random person on the street.
I mean, Kanye still walks around w/o anyone trying to punch him.
And Chris Rock was hit in the face on-stage……

Just sayin’.

That was Sarah Sherman.

Now with Pete no longer there, they can finally joke about Kanye.
Lol. And the Kanye references had me cracking up!

Weekend update was particularly hysterical by the way.

Steve Martin and MartinnShort are hysterical as this week’s hosts. They are having so much fun together on this episode.

The Father of the Bride skit was hilariously funny. The whole show had that old sparkle to it and the two Martins brought out the best in the supporting cast

I am glad that they did not waste Martin and Short on a parody of the Meghan Markle Netflix show, but I hope SNL does something. After on going references to "H" and "my husband" (as in husband #3), I would love a good roast of the Whinge and the Ginge.

With so many major favorite cast members gone from the show (Hi Pete! Kate! Aidy!!), I truly thought that this Season would be boring.

But the new cast members are all hugely talented + so funny.
Plus they are getting major screen time on air which is definitely showcasing their great comedic skills.

Plus SNL has had some excellent guest hosts this season as well so the show is really great this season.

Steve & Martin were hilarious co-hosts last night!
It’s so nice to see some of the OGs return and these two guys were hysterical! 🤣🤣🤣

I think even if Pete Davidson was still on the show, SNL would still make Ye jokes.
Only because Ye is in the news so much right now. It seems like every day he is doing another thing that makes him look madder than he did before.
Kanye clearly is at his worst and I personally feel that he isn’t longed for this world.

Sadly he will probably die premature.

Best episode by far in an otherwise forgettable season so far.
