However I personally think that it was too early for Pete to leave since he is not very established yet. He did experience a popularity surge while dating Kim K. which may have bolstered his ego a bit at the time but his departure was a tad premature.
Kyle was one of my faves. While Baby Yoda wasn’t exactly hilarious, Kyle’s comedic talent was always on point.

SNL will still be funny w/Kenan, Bowen & co.
I will still tune in.

Where is Pete hiding? Since news broke of his break up last month he has been MIA. I saw Bodies, Bodies Bodies which was not very good,

Pete was hardly ever on and added nothing to the show. He’s not funny.

THIS. I don't know what his appeal is. He is simply not funny - at all.

I am not generally a fan but this was one of the funniest things on SNL in the past decade.

That is hilarious. The movie review he did with John Mulaney of the Clint Eastwood movie is also one of his best.

Lol!!!!!!!
This clip is hysterical!
The World’s Smartest Horse!!?
……………………….
I love how he can make fun of his own self here!
It takes a real man to laugh at himself!

Yes the clip he did about The Mule with John Mulaney WAS super funny too!!
How Andy García was rude to John at a sporting event!!

Chris Redd is leaving too.

Oh no! I liked him. Why are so many cast members leaving now?

Yes! His Eric Adams impression is what I will miss most this season!

I sure hope all the new talent can make up for all the past.

Kate, Pete, Aidy, Kyle and Chris will all be very missed.

Aw man! Chris Redd was so underappreciated, in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to the new season. People have been saying "SNL hasn't been funny for years" for....years, I guess, but I always find something to appreciate in each show. Writing/performing comedy is hard and I kind of like watching the process, even if the skits suck. They really need to hire me as an editor to shut down those skits that go on about 5 minutes too long.

Anyway, I might miss Aidy and Kate a bit but to be honest they'd reached the level where they were Aidy or Kate in each sketch. Almost caricatures of themselves. Every. Single. Time. So I was tired of them by the end. Can't wait to see what Sarah Sherman does with some more time.

I agree and I don't have a problem with him in general. The shows that I hated the most seemed to be written for stoners. They tended to be shows that featured a lot of Pete. He doesn't act and he isn't interesting enough being himself.

I agree. For better or worse they needed to drop a lot of the performers and start over.

Sweet and charming. That’s him at his best, IMHO.
