Andy Capp's Hot Fries and Jelly Belly (though there is an off-brand that I like even better) come in at a close second and are probably a part of my second child's DNA, I ate so many of both while pregnant.

Oh I forgot about Wasabi Peas. Unfortunately I cracked 2 teeth eating them so I'm done forever but man I love those things!

The one piece of candy I don't get. Just tastes like nothing

False . They taste like plastic.

That said, once I start eating them I start liking them. Why do I start eating them? Nobody knows.

See I don't eat plastic so I don't know if that is a good comparison. All I know is they aren't chocolate and so aren't worth the calories ( for me)

Original pringles
poptarts heated in the toaster
Twinkies smashed and then squeezed out of the wrapper.

Sour patch kids.

If I'm taking a long flight or solo road trip, I start with these to cover crunchy, chewy, salty, sweet, sour. Mmm...

You sound like my 8 year old daughter!

.

Ideally, the dark chocolate ones. My treat to myself.

Otherwise, Oreo Thins.

Most “fancy” desserts don’t tempt me at all, but love those.

Pretzel Combos
Costco peanut butter filled pretzels
Costco Himalayan salt kettle chips-I especially love them with creamy tomato soup from the Campbells can
Reese’s cups
Oreo’s
Krispy Kreme whipped cream filled, chocolate iced donuts

I loved the Hostess section in the grocery store when I was pregnant. Like I never looked at it much before and became obsessed. Mostly with Zingers and chocolate peanut butter Twinkies.

You can't start a thread with "Shaddap" We will live longer not eating your "food".

Enjoy it while you can

Chewy candy lovers, you have to try the SweetTart ropes. They have the best texture.

That was one of the first things I bought after I moved out of my parents house. They …. aren’t good. I was so disappointed.
This is funny. I grew up on them and stopped buying them when I moved out. They are so good after warmed up in the toaster oven.

Deep fried Oreos covered in hot fudge and caramel with powdered sugar. Once a year

Golden oreos are far superior to original. Fight me.

On principle, I object to fancy versions of things that aren't supposed to be fancy, but the Poptarts at Ted's Bulletin are what I remember Poptarts tasting like (only now they don't). Lafayette in New York used to have a gourmet Ho-ho that again tasted the way I remember Ho-hos tasting when I was 8.

I have yet to find a version of au gratin potatoes that tastes the way I remember the boxed ones tasting. I've even made them from the Serious Eats recipe, and they were good, but not what I remember
