Is it tacky to hang prints (instead of original art) in our home?

I mean- artists are just people. I have *my* abstract art framed in my house. -- in this case to make the decor generally look good. I am not an artist but I like the way it looks.

There's an artist I love whose fairly large originals go for $8-12k. He makes a small number of prints of some pieces and has them printed at some special place in the UK. I have two of the prints that I adore, framed in the same framing he puts the originals in.

By no means are the prints + framing cheap, but they are a fraction of what the originals would cost. I guarantee my friends think mine are originals. I'd tell them otherwise if they asked, but it doesn't matter to them or me.
