I love this one! |

I love so many of the movies listed here. I didn’t realize so many of them are considered obscure.
I’ll add Strange Brew and Escanaba in da Moonlight. Also Drop Dead Gorgeous with Kirsten Dunst. I can’t find that one anywhere for streaming. It’s almost worth getting a DVD player just so I can watch it on dvd like it’s 1999 again. |
| Saved with Mandy Moore and Macaulay Culkin (among others) |
| I just rewatched Racing With the Moon and remembered how much I love the movie - young Sean Penn, Nic Cage and Elizabeth McGovern |
| A few have already mentioned some of mine, but I have to add Intolerable Cruelty. It’s an under-rated Coen Brothers comedy, and my family quotes lines from it more than any other. |
Forgot about this movie! So good. |

Go (1999) with Timothy Oliphant, Katie Holmes and Taye Diggs. Loved it.

| SILENCE by Martin Scorsese and staring Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver, and Liam Neeson. It's absolutely beautiful and searing. It's about two Portuguese Jesuit priests in the 17th century who go to feudal Japan to try to find their missing mentor and spread Catholic Christianity to an incredibly hostile and violent culture. It's an absolute masterpiece. |

Opened this to say Win Win with bobby Canavale and Paul giametti — really just a phenomenal movie. It’s feel good and fun to watch while also dealing with really human and real themes.
But the thread is making me thing of some older movies that no one talks about anymore, like Brazil or The Mossion (I think both of which happen to have De Niro in them!). The movie Missing with sissy spacek is amazing and another one that time seems to have forgotten. |
YESSSSSS |
OMG me too! Need to rewatch. |
| Fresh |

Saved is an excellent movie
So many of these are movies I have personally watched again and again |
+1. Love that movie. |
| I have 2 movies that are quoted all the time in my house - Joe Versus the Volcano and What About Bob |
