The PPs asserting how they prefer large noses are being so ridiculously general. Is a huge nose with a bulbous tip that dominates the whole face really what what you mean? I'm betting not.

Op here. What's wrong with a large bulbous nose? His original nose was a significant feature of his face, but it worked. I found him very attractive.

I am still attracted to him it's just different. I'm not going to tell him I don't like it and will keep talking to him. Maybe we'll meet in person soon and I'll feel differently about it.

You're a jerk.

No she isn't. He changed something about his physical appearance and she no longer findshim attractive in the same way.

Can you honestly say you have never lost physical attraction to someone based on appearance?

She would be a jerk if she mocked him about it.

She's simply venting on an anonymous forum.

Agree. I like men who are a bit imperfect. Too pretty and chiseled does nothing for me.

Seriously. If he grew a beard or gained weight, she would be completely justified in finding him less attractive.

I'm a bulbous nosed, otherwise attractive woman. People have been making fun of my nose my whole life.

I can tell you that when people talk about "liking big noses" or that "big noses have personality", they do NOT mean big fat noses. They mean greek, or persian or whatever other ethnic noses that are skinny, but prominent. I'm not vain, but i don't judge when people want to make changes.

No one likes those ethnic noses either. We haven’t reached that level of acceptance yet. There’s a reason so many Persians get nose jobs and it’s because they’ve been insulted or conditioned to believe their large noses are not attractive. People on here are being disingenuous.

Just because you're a self hater doesn't mean everyone else is.

And just because you're a racist doesn't mean everyone else is.

Lady, you got bigger fish to fry than comparing noses. A man's nose is the least of a married woman's concerns. Is he nice? Good career? Finances? Similar values?

Yeah, but the OP's boyfriend is too, and i'm saying those are valid feelings.

I am not sure of your gender but every man I have known to get a nose job either came out as gay later or was very much in the closet....just food for thought.

Why is a nose job any different than breast aug or tummy tuck?

I had a nose job at 20. All my life I had sinus issues. Partly because of allergies partly because of a deviated septum from an accident when I was a kid.

I was embarrassed to see people who knew me from before and people in my life now, have no idea I had one done. I think a few people who saw me and knew me before were in shock and looked at me strangely because they were just used to how I was before but people that see me for the first time have no issue.

My nose was large, very large and had a bump on it. I hated it through my teens and people would tease me for my big nose. It really led to a lot of insecurity that I was able to shake off when I got my new nose.

Don’t judge him. You don’t know what he may have gone through. His nose, his business, his happiness. If that means he loses you in the process, so be it.

Are you sure he didn't need the surgery -- like for a deviated septum? A relative needed two of those (first, congenital, second time due to a break) and it changed the shape of the nose each time.

Many women in Hollyweird have gone from ugly/average simply by getting rhinoplasty.

Ashley Simpson, Jennifer Grey, Kim & Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, etc.

Their appearances were transformed and they went from blah -> stunning.
Sans Kim K. of course.

Yet the only Male celebrity who I know has had a nose job looked 💯x worse was Michael Jackson.
Which could be why not many men get nose jobs.

Thus a double standard !?
