Would the initials BRA turn you off a name?

Agree. I use initial at work all the time. I'd pick a different name.

Ha, I went through the exact same thought process. I'm an A and we were going with Rose for the middle name (due to the family connection). There wasn't a B name on our list, though, so we didn't have to make that call.

Whether it bothers you or not, there will likely be at least a period of time where these initials bother your DD.
