I don’t like the frequency of his attacks on other candidates. His social media is filled with negativity about Elrich, which I find really repelling. I’m not a huge Elrich fan either, but Riemer’s constant criticisms are having an opposite effect on me. I’m starting to like Elrich more. |

Eh. I don’t see much wrong with that article. He has a right to defend himself. I’m not voting for either. Perhaps long ago I would have considered voting for Riemer, but his MO appears to be tearing other people down. (He has done the same with the police.) Doesn’t make me a fan. |

He can only tear others down because he’s been in government for 12 years and has no record of accomplishments to run on. We can laugh and joke, but I honestly cannot trust the guy to care enough to make sure that trash is picked up on time or that 911 maintains fast response times. You know, the quality of public services that differentiate MoCo from DC. Riemer as County Executive honestly frightens me as it surely will be a prelude to the undoing of MoCo as a high quality place to live and everyone that has interacted with him knows it’s true. The man has never takes responsibility for anything, not has he ever followed through on any commitment he has ever made. He just doesn’t care about anyone or anything except his own self-promotion. An absolutely dangerous person to be in a leadership role with real responsibility. |

Riemer has Glendening endorsing him, when he brought his Prince George's County corruption to the state when he was Governor.
Maybe Riemer is too young to remember all that hot mess? |

What to know what’s typically Riemer? When he received his endorsement he said that Glendenning was his “political hero”. Glen denning left office in 2002. Riemer didn’t move to Maryland until 2004. Everything that comes out of that guys mouth is horsesh*t. It’s pathological. |
