Britney Spears pregnant with 3rd child

I feel sorry for the poster above who has gone down a bunny hole of conspiracy theories.

Britney Spears originally VOLUNTARILY entered into the conservatorship, and while she wanted her speeches about her father and criticizing the terms of her conservatorship public, she consistently asked the court to mask her actual diagnosis and treatment record from public view. This is not just because she has an affinity for HIPAA, but because she doesn’t want the #freebritney people to know just how mentally ill she is.

I fear we are about to see her meltdown again as she’s already exhibited in recent social media how manic she is much of the time, and pregnancy and post partum are likely to really knock her hormones and moods out of the park.

I don’t wish her ill, but I do think people with major mental illness that is highly heritable should think twice and three, four, five, etc. times about bringing a child into this world, no matter how much money they have to support them. Major mental illness can be very hellish to endure, even with lots of wealth to cushion the pain. I wish she’d considered focusing on her mental health but I’m sure the fiancé wanted the lock on two decades of support.

Well said. Especially “she consistently asked the court to mask her actual diagnosis and treatment record from public view. This is not just because she has an affinity for HIPAA, but because she doesn’t want the #freebritney people to know just how mentally ill she is.”

If Brittney was just a victim of conservatorship and isn’t mentally ill - then there would be no reason to hide her diagnosis. She’d be screaming from the rooftops that she has 12+ years of evidence of no mental illness. Course, she’d also have routine custody of her existing children and they would be a priority in her life.

Yes, exactly. Assertions that the child will be ok because of mom's wealth, really?

It’s as if people don’t realize that mental illness can be inheritable.

You don’t seem to understand mental health issues. Especially the ones that she claims pregnancy causes for her.

I tend to agree that it might not be great that she is pregnant so soon after exiting the conservatorship, but I assume she is racing against the fertility clock. I had some postpartum mental health challenges and my doctor and therapist said that if I ever decided to have another baby they could start treatment prenatally and that being aware of previous issues and starting early meant that I was likely to have better outcomes with subsequent pregnancies. I am encouraged to see her mention it in her post for this reason.

Did what you experienced cause permanent psychosis?

Whether we want to believe it or not, it takes a lot for children to be removed from a mother’s care. It also takes a lot for courts to keep someone in conservatorship for as long as she has been. There isn’t a huge conspiracy. She was incredibly I’ll. This will not end well.

No, but we don't know that was the case for her. There were a lot of people making money off her for years and there is no way of knowing if she was being drugged and/or manipulated in a way that made her seem less stable than she is capable of.
