That would be wrong of you. You are likely a conservative who does not swallow the Fox News Koolaid and you source your news from more reliable sources. So you get it.

You are incorrect about me. I am a big Trump supporter. That does not change the fact that my Dad has the right to watch what he wants. I even pay for their cable subscription.

Republican here. You can't reason with people who want to silence all opposing views.

Very true

If you are a "big Trump supporter" you support the most tyrannical force in modern American politics, so please don't give me a lecture on "tyranny".

Yet all I and others want is for you to butt out. I’m not deliberately blocking access to opposing viewpoints

Also known as “lies” or “RWNJ propaganda”.

No bias there. Nope.

You want to force your parents to watch your programs because you are . . . an open minded liberal? or a Putin-esque dictator? Evil dictators shut down unapproved viewpoint content. I think some Russian channels were just shutdown. North Korea anyone?

Sorry. Truth hurts.

Fox spreads lies and RWNJ propaganda.

Kinda like trying to throw out election results?

Not “opposing views” - just blatant lies and misinformation.

So true. And playing a cruel trick on your parents is disgusting and disrespectful. You are so unsure of your own beliefs that you are forced to be cruel to your parents ?

My concern is people losing their grip on reality. That's Trump/Fox/OAN

If there wever an Adam Kitzinger channel, I'd set my mom up in her confident chair and program it to her remote's favorites

Losing grip on reality or YOUR reality?

Reality. Not some alternate reality based on lies and conspiracy theories.

Politically neutral answer: As my mom declined mentally with Alzheimer's ravaging her mind, she lost the ability to read and follow along with movies, TV shows, etc. She started watching MSNBC ALL THE TIME when she wasn't going to an activity at her retirement home. My brothers and I think that it's because Fox and MSNBC are both super repetitive, make issues simple, and feeds the viewer a strong point of view. For someone with cognitive decline, that makes for easy viewing. We never blocked it, but it was getting to be a problem because she was getting so upset by the programming. But by the time we wanted to do something about it, she stopped being able to follow anything on TV anymore.

So you want to censor what your parents watch? Do they censor your cnn? Get a life and let them live their last days in peace

But leftists aren’t control freaks. Nope. Not at all

Anonymous wrote:We did that for CNN and MSNBC since it was so divisive and always upsetting my in-laws. They don't watch Fox.

Yes they are much worse compared to Fox. Still it's up to the adult to watch what they want. Someone trying to block the content they like is very "controlling". And speaks of larger issues OP!

CNN and MSNBC's ratings have tanked even further. They try to find dirt on anything Trump related, or his kids. Sadly most of the cable news is agenda and little real news.
