(White album is pretty great but I could really do without Revolution 9)

I’m listening to this now…it’s great…Im embarrassed to admit I’ve never really listened to the Stones before!!

I’m the worlds biggest Stones fan and I don’t loooove Exile. For me, Sticky Fingers is the best Stones album and therefore, the best of all time.

Lots of good ones on here that I have listened to over and over, Pink Floyd, Beastie Boys, PRINCE. I'll add:

The Cure - Disintegration
David Bowie - Let's Dance
George Michael - Faith

Choose just one? Impossible.

Nirvana - Nevermind
Pearl Jam - 10
Dr Dre - The Chronic (really tied w/ 2001, though)
Outkast - Aquemini
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Weezer - Blue

God, I miss the days when we would pop in a tape or CD and listen to the ENTIRE album. Those days are long gone.

Disintegration is frickin’ AMAZING. That is def one of my desert island discs. I never tire of listening to that album.

Please post your age also! Seems many albums posted as favourites are from 80s, some 70s. I have a hunch that the best albums are ones we listened to are from our college days, when there was more to listen to music and there was just as much as angst as in the teenage years but we had money to buy albums.

Metallica - ...And Justice For All
Def Leppard - Hysteria

This is the right answer. And Abbey Road is number 2.

Come on, people, only two mentions of the Beatles? I'm not even a huge Beatles fan, but that's absurd.
