What time do you eat dinner?

5:30-6:00

That's when DW comes home and I have to have dinner ready by.

6ish. Would love to eat later but we have little kids.

6:45-7ish. Wish I could pull it off earlier since we have 2 and 7 y/o but me and the 7 y/o aren't home til almost 6 most nights.

by 5pm at the latest... because 14 year old son is ravenous by then, and I'd rather us all eat healthy dinner with lots of protein than have him "snack" on what's not so great for him

Our middle and high school kids eat together at around 7:00-7:30. Sometimes later if there is a Scouts meeting or sports practice.

My husband and I eat together at 10:00-10:15. We like eating late, and we like a much a wider variety of foods than our children, though they are getting better as they get older. I will admit that our late dining time is harder during Dry January, which I am observing for a fifth straight year. I have come to realize that I tend to drink wine as a way to ward off hunger. So maybe we will try to aim for something earlier, like 9:00, but old habits are hard to break.

We sit down anywhere from 6:30-7:00 to eat as a family with ES kids. It works for all of us, that’s why we stick with it.

I get home from work around 5:45 pm. I walk the dog right away. Then I shower or eat, usually around 6:30 pm or 7ish.
It was similar when my kids were in HS and similar if I was working. For a period of time that I was a SAHM, and kids were younger, we would eat around 5pm because they were utter pain in the arse to eat while at school.

7:30 lately.

5:30. Happily retired.

Between 6 and 6:30. I like to have time to clean up after before I'm too tired so I have time to wind down after.
