What time do you eat dinner?

5-6ish. Kids are young and start doing bedtime routine around 7, in bed at 8.

Why do you want to know? It changes for me depending on when we ate lunch. If early than we eat dinner early. If we eat a late lunch than later.

Same here! I thought we were the only weirdos that did this. Sometimes we stretch it until 5 but we eat super super early.

Wow. Younger kids, or is there some other logical reason?

Do what works!

Started when kids were young and just stuck. I am up for work at 5:30. I generally eat lunch at about 10:30/11. Home by 3:30. Kids activities are usually later in the evening. It’s the perfect time. Sometimes if my husband is running late at work he’ll reheat and eat his dinner later. I’m usually up in bed watching Netflix by 8 at the latest, asleep by 9!

Around 5:30pm, definitely between 5pm - 6pm 90% of the time. Sometimes it's earlier or later depending on where we are and what we're doing. Sometimes we don't have an actual dinner and everyone just kinda grazes (because we had a big or late lunch).

6:30 on weekdays, sometimes 6:45 or 7:00 on weekends. This is to accommodate the kids' bedtimes--DD1 goes to bed at 7:15 and DS3 at 7:45. This time works for now; personally I'd prefer to eat a little later, but for now we work around the kids' schedules.

5pm because preschooler needs to start getting ready for bed at 6. I eat dinner with him and then eat something around 7-8pm so I don’t get too hungry overnight.

We eat dinner at 6pm as a family. Bedtime is 8pm for the kids and 730 for my infant.

5 - 5:30

My MS kid eats lunch at 10:30 and is starving when they get home

Around 6:30 or 7pm when we're eating with the kids. Without them, we eat a bit later.

5:30-6 We have early work schedules and are in bed by 9:30ish so this works well for us.

Dinner at 430pm. We have kids with lots of activities every night of the week. They eat right after school. Weekend is slightly different.

Generally 6pm on weekdays with the whole family.

7pm on date nights with just me/DH.

7-7:30pm at home on special occasions, with an earlier dinner for kid.

I grew up with early dinner at home (5:30) and very late dinner among extended family (8:00). I prefer late dinners with appetizers at 5:30-6. But DH grew up with dinners at 5. We compromise!

Cool, thanks for answering (was just curious). I'm also a 5/5:30 riser, but don't work up to breakfast until 9:30 or so.

Roughly 5:15-5:30 daily. Kids barely eat lunch at school, so they are starving by 5:30. I like having the dishes finished and the kitchen cleaned up by 6:00 so I can sit down, relax, and enjoy the evening before going to bed at 9:30.
