Dating a woman that watches cartoons weird or no?

She’s not high. I don’t know the names of all of them, but the ones I know she watches are Alvin and the Chipmunks, Powerpuff Girls, and Animaniacs. No, she’s not always watching them with her tween.

See very little difference between cartoons and all the superhero movies supposed adults lose their sh8t over, so what's the big deal, OP?

Those cartoons seem retro. She probably watched them when she was younger.

Not a big deal unless it’s an obsession.

As someone who enjoys an occasional episode of Inspector Gadget, Lost Cities of Gold, or The Adventures of Tintin, I’m in no place to throw stones.

Adults make cartoons. Not saying she is looking to become a cartoon producer, but there is a whole adult industry behind cartoons. Including adults who write, produce, direct, illustrate, make storyboards, act, watch, critique and enjoy.

My husband LOVES Peppa Pig. He keeps watching it after our kid goes to bed. He can talk about the backstory of all the characters and his favorite is Ms. Rabbit. He is a wonderful person.

He isn’t obsessed and watching it 12 hours a day by himself, but he watches it.

MY DW and DD, ages 50 and 23, watch Masha and the Bear. Sometimes I watch it with them. It's cute and fun! Plus we all speak Russian.

Sometimes I watch things with my kids, play games with my kids, that I wouldnt otherwise. Then it turns out I LIKE them. For real. So they start out as a bonding thing, then I realize they actually are fun!!

couldn't tell you... I'm a 45 year old woman that could burst into the duck tales theme song or any number of animaniacs songs and probably still know all the words. i don't watch them much any more, but I would say if you think she is crazy, she is not for you OP.

I posted before about knowing all the words.

I taught my kids the car song:

My nose is snotty, need to use the potty, gotta move my body, better stop the car

We start singing when they are being annoying on long trips and end up in laughter

It seems harmless. Is she stoned? Coz that sounds fun.

Fail to see a problem here. Sounds more intellectual than watching Summer House… (which I watch)
