Tmrw in MCPS: another snow day or a delay?

What time in the evening do they typically announce?

Evening announcements are rather rare and typically only come when they absolutely know they can't open in the AM. I think that this one is going to be a 5 am call.

With 11 schools being online starting tomorrow morning, they can't close the others. On the other hand, there's a lot of black ice and even with 2 hour delay, lots of students will prefer to miss school than be in a dangerous situation.

First day is asynchronous so it could still be a solid delay.

I think at least a delay but if it doesn’t look like the temps will rise around 9 am to melt some of the ice, I could see a closure.
