I know I’ll get covid next week. How to prepare?

You are smart to prepare.
Make sure you all have KN(% masks and do your best to stay well - the treatments are getting better.

For now -
Start a grocery order online now that can be delivered if you get sick.
Take prebiotics/probiotics, Quercetin, Melatonin. Zinc. Stock up on meds for fever and cough and congestion.
Get a lot of sleep now.

Look into antidepressants which are now being used to treat Covid I hear.

We haven’t had Covid but the friends who did mentioned bad sore throats.

Get a couple of jugs of cranberry juice and gingerale which are always good for illness.
You can order any groceries or take out meals, I wouldn't worry.

Fully vaxxed and had covid, fevers chills and aches. It was not a cold.

My mother was in bed for 3 days and was blowing it out her behind for 2 of the days, so maybe get some anti-diarrheic medicine.

Most people barely feel a thing. Bad luck for you to be in the unlucky minority.

Order at home tests. Amazon still has some but they might take a week or so.

For the life of me I don't know why people are looking for tests. I was just at CVS and people keep asking. Why haven't they ordered them to have in the house for when they need them? It's only in the last day or two that it's become harder to get

We had a bunch but have been using them to test every sniffle.

Get Boosted. That’s the best preparation you can have. It seems like different people have different Covid symptoms. I had a horrible headache and nausea my friend son had a horrible sore throat. I did not

Order some rapid tests. They'll take a week to arrive

Sounds pretty similar to endemic viruses.

We’re not in a pandemic of a cold. Grow up.

A week, not a couple days.

Keep in mind until a week or two ago there were a lot of people criticizing rapid tests as worthless. You couldn’t use them for anything- schools and employers always wanted PCRs. So why pay out of pocket for something you can’t use and are told not to trust?

I had a stockpile, since I already knew we shouldn’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. But I previously felt like I needed to keep my rapid tests a secret because people didn’t want you using them.

Vaxed kids and and boostered adults are getting very minor illnesses.
