+1 he wanted to be Lear on stage, but he's become a real-life Lear |
|
I was so happy to see Jeevan again. I'm excited/nervous for his reunion with Kirsten.
And oh, St Deborah By The Water - what a character! |
PP here - I think this is correct. I'm having trouble with it because Clark and the airport were some of my favorite parts of the book and this is just so different. |
Oh for sure. But we see in various flashes from the past how not being Lear - i.e., not being Arthur - haunted him and made him mean. Then he got that taste of power in the airport when he stood up and commanded the crowd to see their situation how he wanted them to, and he and Elizabeth and Miles spontaneously seized control. |

Just read this recap of Episode 9 and I'm going to have to watch Episode 9 again. I missed a lot. |
|
I watched the finale and cried like a baby towards the end (don't want to spoil it). And then at the very end Clark makes a comment that is fantastic.
So sad it's over. I really liked it. |
I watched it but must have missed the comment - what was it? I also cried. I'm sad it's over already. |
Clark says, as he watches the prophet and Elizabeth walk away with all those children: “ WTF?” It was so simple and also mirrors probably what anyone would be thinking looking at that. It struck me as very funny. |
Same same same a thousand times over. That Clark line was perfect - the whole ending was perfect. I cried my stupid eyes out. This is one of the few shows where I hope it doesn't get a second season. It was perfect. |
I don't actually understand the kids at the end. They were waiting for Station Eleven to come, and it doesn't, and...now what?! |
| I liked the book, and LOVED the show. |
We know it can’t be because everyone who survived locked down because lock spdowns don’t work, LOL! I assume since it was highly contagious and terminal that if you survived it you probably were immuned to it. |

Finished episode 7 and I am still confused.
I though Miranda said she only made one copy of the comic, how does Kristen and Tyler have a copy of it? Is this explained later or did I miss something? |
| Bump |
It did sound like she said something like that but maybe she meant one story (haven't rewatched anything). At another point/different episode she says she printed five copies of Station Eleven. |
