So did Ruth tell the lawyer's wife in the front yard the truth of who killed the sheriff? Is that why she drove her to see her? Do others know?
If Ruth told the cops what truly happened, would they have believed her anyway? 5 year olds aren't great shots. Does Katie really know what happened? Or are we led to believe she realized it at this point in her life? |
| I think Ruth either told the wife or the wife put it together based on Ruth’s account. Either way, she understood that it was Katie who shot the cop. I don’t know if they tell the police this or not, and I don’t think Katie knows what happened, but she finally remembers who Ruth is at the very end. |
| Bad and unbelievable. Seemed like just a money maker for Bullock who is also the producer. That often doesn’t work well |
| Facing 20 years vs saying a 5 year old did it? I found that completely unbelievable. |
| I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the movie was bad. |
Why should they? Men play much younger roles for decades and have romantic interests who are decades younger … I was outraged to hear an old actor told Geena Davis that she was too old to play his love interest when she was twenty years younger than him …. The absurd sexism is a joke … |
Totally agree! |
Totally. Had to watch in 2 days, it was so slooooooow! Unforgivable: unbelievable, almost unwatchable. |
