Watched it last night. Enjoyed it well enough.

It's TV. It's not supposed to change your life.

This was released in theaters too. I'm the OP and that's why I was surprised.

I liked it. Good twist. Would have been better without the Beavis and Butthead brothers.

I think she is a fantastic actress, especially of comedy but this vanity needs to stop. Not just her, either, so many of the aging plasticized actresses - Roberts, Garner, Kidman etc.
Her character is at least 40.

Sandra Bullock is 57

How old was she when her "sister" was under 10?

No. Sorry. Totally unbelievable. Unforgivable AND unbelievable.

Why do you care this deeply about something trivial? Unforgivable lol

It wasn’t great. And, I disagree that Sandra did a good job. Basically, she just walked around for 2 hrs with a scowl on her face, with an occasional emotional outburst. How is that good acting? The bar is so low these days. She gets no points for looking “ugly” either. I liked her so much better in the apocalypse movie where she was blindfolded the entire time. Much better acting, such a better storyline

She is a good serious actress--she is much better at comedy. When she is playing dramatic role she uses one serious expression and monotone voice...that's not acting.

Why on earth would the one brother's wife cheat on him with the other brother?? They must have really had a limited cast during covid to put him in the bed.

Thanks for putting it into words. This is how I felt as well.

Re-reading some of the comments, I do recall thinking it was silly to take the blame for a 5 year old who would face no jail time.

My cousins wife cheated on him with…..his twin brother. Cannot make this stuff up. So, apparently it happens.

+1
Especially the doughy, less attractive brother!

Here’s what I didn’t understand. Why were they going to separate the two sisters to begin with? Wasn’t Ruth old enough to be Katie’s guardian? It made no sense.

I thought it was more about them taking the house than being separated, although I am sure that was a fear.

Eviction not separation.
