Yes. Especially with kids.

We have corn bread no rolls...no problem.

Not everyone like cornbread

Then they take extra stuffing. Not everyone likes rolls either.

Agree

And the texture and the way cornbread crumbles when you try to bite into is not substitute for rolls.

Go out a buy a thing of Pillsbury Biscuits.

Try to be a little bit accommodating to your guests

So funny that you feel comfortable asking the poster to be accomodating to people she knows and you do not! We have corn bread mini muffins every year. No one in my group wants something from a Pillsbury tube on Thanksgiving

I feel like a troll is making OP nervous. That’s a ton of food and should be plenty. I am also feeding 12 and am not even doing rolls this year. I don’t think anyone cares (everyone is staying with me and I asked, consensus was not necessary with stuffing, mashed and sweet potato casserole as carb heavy sides.

I may make some rolls tomorrow to eat with the leftovers.

TBH I think it's better not to have something at all than to have not enough. No rolls is fine.

There are some specific kids who either are very picky, or who are just overwhelmed by the chaos of Thanksgiving and go looking for familiarity, and might appreciate the rolls. There are plenty of kids who might eat some rolls if they're there, and will be perfectly happy without them.

There are only two children and since OP referred to her "family of four" we can probably assume they're her kids. Pretty sure she knows how many rolls they're likely to eat.

I thought Op was too proud to serve rolls and opted for cornbread (bleh!) instead

You need to read the post, She served both. What does too proud for rolls mean? Do you find them low class?
