We won't be there, but my SIL makes rolls using canned crescent rolls she arranges in a round pan after sprinkling with some kind of herb seasoning and pouring a whole lot of melted butter over then baking. Might be parmesan in there too. They do taste pretty good.

Please tell me this is a call back to the poster w/ the MIL who complained about serving Ritz crackers at party. If so, well done!

We told everyone we were going somewhere else. Going to fart up the couch and order in.

Otherwise we eat our weight in cheese most years, then have turkey dinner. Sometime there are lil smokies on toothpicks.

DP here. The first Hanukkah I dated my Jewish DH I taught myself to make latkes and bought Maneschewitz. He was so appreciative of my thoughtfulness but later nicely told me Jewish people don't actually drink Maneschewitz! We still laugh about that 20 years later!

I’ve shared this here before, but my gentile father called Maneschewitz “juice,” and used to drink it out of juice glasses. 😂

Well now it’s going to ruffles and sour cream dip. That sounds so good rn

I made a dip I found online with the name "crack dip." I am going to call it "ranch dip" for my guests. It is made with packet of ranch dressing mix.

I think this counts.
