Goody bag/party favor for 7 year old’s birthday

I think that’s enough, but if you want to add anything, you could get some party favors on Amazon. Those pop fidget things, ring pops, squishy animals — anything like that.

I also just gave everyone a easy reader book one year. Parents loved it.

Dollar Tree has Popits in different shapes and colors

I would add something small to it from the Target dollar spot or dollar store (maybe one of those wood things you can paint), or a stamper, or fidget spinner or a glitter pen. But then again, I like making goody bags for kids and you say you don't, so do what works for you.

My kids just don’t need all this small cheap plastic stuff. 7 year olds are certainly old enough to attend a party without it. If you really want to do something then get a $5 gift card to a local ice cream parlor.

Gift cards are made of plastic, lol.

Our local ice cream shop does them on paper. Plus there’s printable ones online.

My kids are 16 and 14. I have never EVER done party favors. Never understood it. Someone gets an invitation to a party, gets to (insert here; skate, climb, etc), gets cake and drinks, spends time with friends and the person throwing the party is expected to give MORE?

Only in America. No wonder we are raising a bunch of spoiled brats. I've witnessed kids looking inside a goody bag at other parties and complaining about the contents.

I never done that. Who needs more crap, even "fancier" than dollar store crap?

OP. Please not this.

Parents may not want the goody bags but kids look forward to it whether it is junk or not. And a $5 gift card does not give the same satisfaction plastic crap gives. I am not being sarcastic.

You may be right, but we are in a bad place if kids need to be rewarded for attending a party.

Dont do any favors.

It is just a waste of time, and most kids don't like them. Use the money and your energy to do a fun activity at the birthday party instead. If it's in the park, you can buy a model rocket for $30 bucks and launch it, really big hit.

OMG, no, do not add more stuff. The piñata and bags to transport the candy home are perfect. Kids will love getting their own candy. They’re not going to care about cheap plastic toys, which will end up on the floor of the car as they drive home and be forgotten.

Please, no more cheap plastic toys. All my kids' end up in the trash. We do not need to keep filling landfills with this stuff.

OP, I see you’re set but fwiw, my standard suggestion is always mini flashlight keychains. Kids love them and they’re actually useful!
