I have a child who has an IEP and we filed a complaint against DCPS b/c of the blatant disregard with supporting their specific disability. I highly recommend that any questions you have about report cards you send an email to the teacher so that you have a record.
DCPS used growth in the report card as a way of discrediting our concerns that our child was not making progress. In the end it did not work - but it was frustrating that we needed to have email documentation showing that the report card did not reflect accurately my child. |
look up Aspen in your email. I found an old email from like August that had a temporary password in it. i logged in with that and it had me reset it. |
this is happening to me too. we have never gotten an email from Aspen. There was supposed to be an email sent in early November, but we never got it (I just saw this on the DCPS page). https://dcps.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/dcps/page_content/attachments/How%20to%20Log%20On%20and%20Navigate%20the%20Parent%20Portal.pdf I guess I will have to call the central office on Monday. |
PP here. I called the school and turns out I had opted out of Aspen when registering. Oops. Call your school first, they can help. |
