Avid readers with several kids

In the bathroom and in bed. But it's going to be rare that you spend an entire day sinking into a book. At the same time, if you have just a short time to read in bed because you're exhausted and need sleep you can also really savor a few pages of the best writing. I remember a few books it took me an entire summer to get through, they were long and I didn't have much reading time, but it was so worthwhile.

My mom always said she was a bookworm until she had kids. She pretty much stopped until she was 70.

I am free from 7-1030pm every day. I read then. Finished a novel in 2 days last week. I don’t do any chores- my free time is mine.

I read after they are asleep or when they’re at school. I ignore domestic duties at times. I bring them to a safe playground and bring a book with me. I still don’t finish that many books, but I do read.

This. Now that my kids are older I am able to read the amount I prefer.

I have 3 kids under 6. I read when they go to bed and listen to audiobooks when I cook meals and do housework. Kindle/Kindle app on my phone has really increased my ability to read whenever I want. I get ebooks from the library and read about a book a week. I don’t watch TV either, and that helps.
