Stop calling Gen X people "Boomers"

Are these the same young women wasting their prime high, tight a$$ years wearing frumpy, baggy jeans?

If so, bwahahahahaha. Morons.

At least when I look back on my photos of me in my 20s during my prime bangin' body years, I'm wearing jeans like this

instead of this...

Proud Gen X and yes it bothers me to be out into the boomers. Don’t you forget about me!

Gen X has the smallest time frame 1965-75. Interesting.

All this is nonsense, but that's how Tom Brokaw & other mainstream media pundits classify us.

Millennials don't beginning until 1980 at the very earliest and 1983 at the latest. 1975 is still solidly X

I'm a 48 year old Gen Xer and feel (generally) fine about being old. But I draw the line at getting confused with Boomers. Boomers ruined everything. EVERYTHING.

This. I have major generational hostility toward the Boomers. Some of it is personal, because my Boomer parents are horrible narcissists, but mostly I can't wait until their generation is gone.

Above list does not differentiate enough between groups.
I call anyone over 35 yo = BOOMERS. Culturally, they are similar.
They include Gen X and Millennials born by 1985. Physiologically most are old enough to be in similar stage of life. For example, they are old enough to have a kid starting college. Also they are retired or planning/talking about it.

52. Born in 1969. Gen Xer here.

Do people realize Boomers were born to the generation of parents during an era of prosperity following World War Ii? There was an actual Baby Boom in population, making them the largest (not talking about their obesity rates) generation in our nation's history.

Bolded part sounds like an over reaction and bigoted. You are the acorn from the same tree.

There’s that lack of a fully developed frontal lobe.

Yep, their influence was strong and has now filtered into every aspect of our lives.

I am not the only GenXer who sees the irony in being labeled a "Boomer."

Younger people probably just confuse Boomer with people who have a loud voice with real estate and money. They probably don't know Baby Boomer refers to the generation born during the largest population explosion following World War II.

I also dislike Baby Boomers. They refuse to get out of the way for GenXers.

We have had a Baby Boomer president since Clinton was the first Baby Boomer, elected in 1993. Unlike other generations, Boomers think they will never die.

Oh come on, can’t you appreciate incisive commentary like “I CALL ANYONE OVER 35 EQUALS BOOMERS”

I know, it stings when the younger generation thinks you are lame.
