Because of your post I purchased white Vejas this morning, with the gold stripe and gold detail on the back So fun and I can't wait to wear them! Thank you!

Golden goose = gross

I agree. I don't understand the appeal of Golden Goose. They are ugly and over-priced.

^ Different strokes. I have multiple pair, love the different designs and find them very comfortable. I also love vejas.

This is the first year I'm wearing clogs, so I'm not used to the feeling. I'm talking about thick soled wooden clogs, not just Dansko shoes.

Oh I see! I've been wearing wood clogs for 30 years so I don't feel any different driving in them than any other shoe. I rode my bike in them today, even.

I hope you get used to yours - clogs are great!

I like my Birkenstock version of clogs - have my eye on the shearling lined ones this season. They’re kind of ugly but they get a surprising number of complements from fashion forward dressing friends

Sneakers are too casual unless you only ever wear lounge wear.

If you want high-end shoes that are far more attractive and versatile than sneakers (such as Vejas or Golden Goose), try:

- Prada Monolith
- Prada loafers
- La Canadienne ankle boots
- Tod's penny loafers
- Sorel Brex boots
- Loewe Chelsea boots
- Loewe Derby

Oooh, I love these! I ordered two pairs of Docs, because I couldn't afford them the first time around...and they looked like clown shoes on me. I was so disappointed!

10 years ago? No. These are the shoes that are being shown at Bergdorf's, Holt Renfrew, Saks, etc. I'd hardly call those trends from 10 years ago.

These are also the types of shoes that are showing on the feet of some of the most-stylish celebs, as well as on models in the shows of some of the most-respected designers.

What are some of the less expensive versions?
-not finding any of the suggestions on this thread attractive
