Shoes for Fall - Casual

Anonymous wrote:I have some several-years-old metallic low top sneakers from Cole Haan that I’ve been wearing the last couple weeks with everything from midi skirts to jeans to joggers. I love high tops but feel like they can be tricky and weirdly not versatile. But especially because I’m dressing more casually in general these days, the metallic feels like a nice pop even while the sneaker is super comfy and feels really low key. Also, goes really nicely with fall colors and can wear them with black, brown, grey— it’s the perfect neutral.

I love this look!

I really like these loafers. Are they comfortable?

Because of your post I purchased white Vejas this morning, with the gold stripe and gold detail on the back So fun and I can't wait to wear them! Thank you!

Should I even bother if I have wide feet?

+1 I wasted a lot of time ordering and exchanging and eventually returning Birdies last year for this reason

You can get better versions of the m gemi for much cheaper. They are not all that comfortable after a while.

Are these cool? I'd probably wear them with jeans or leggings and an oversized sweatshirt/sweater. My go-to WFH and weekend look is mostly Athleta -styled.

They've been really versatile with all the non-skinny jean styles

I am really liking the looks of all these high tops. Can you do a lot of walking in these?

PP with the adidas - yes, I walk all over with these. Not as supportive as my running shoes but better than my slip-on sneakers
