They couldn’t even be bothered to commission a local artist to paint them like the Jersey barriers at Farragut Square? Maybe it’s the BID’s responsibility, which might explain things as businesses are struggling over there right now and they may not have a lot of resources, while Golden Triangle is backed by deep pockets like Brookfield is investing heavily is getting people back to downtown because they can afford not and can’t afford not to. |

The 14/U corridor, Shaw, and Clarendon as of late (due to no masks during the aughts of the pandemic), but I don't think any of those areas is as exciting as it was pre-pandemic. |
