Aren’t 12-15 still under emergency use authorization? I think they could only do it for 16+?

Yes, exactly. It will probably be mandated for the next school year once fully approved. Trying to mandate a vaccine under EUA for kids is fraught with potential legal chances and frankly, just not worth it, given the overall high vaccination rate in MoCo (even among that age group).

Ours isn't listed on the site yet. I don't think the OP was referring to ESS, because I think there was only one other notice, a week or two ago. But the entire 5th grade and one 2nd grade class was sent home yesterday.

The nonsense ends when the positives stop. So, what are you doing to help stop the positives. You can still get and spread covid even vaccinated. So, without behavior, this is going to last a long time.

Our elementary school has had 6 or 7 notifications this year (not all listed on the dashboard), with three of them within the past week. Because of classroom changes for compacted math, it has impacted more than three classes. It is quiet at pick up and drop off!
