First world problem: catalog model annoys me:)

Anonymous
I know it's a petty complaint, but I need to share: there is a model on Anthro website that has the same annoying facial expression on every picture. I don't know why, but it bothers the heck out of me. To make it worse, they feature her all the time! I did not know I could have such strong feelings towards a catalog model

I've done catalog work. You just give whatever look they tell you. Sometimes you give 14 different looks, but they publish the pics that make the product look best, even if it means you have the same expression in each one. Sorry.

I think she makes those dresses look worse Maybe she reminds me of someone I once disliked, I can't figure it out. At any rate, it's my problem, not hers. Sorry if my post came across as offensive to catalog models!

I can't stand the one in last year's UO catalog that has a huge gap between her front teeth. Where do they get these people? Appalachia?

No, this one: http://m.anthropologie.com/mobile/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=4110265418003&catId=CLOTHES-NEW#/
However, they both have mouth breathing going on. I guess that's what Anthro considers attractive these days.

She looks a lot like a rabbit. I think it is funny how a model an be so annoying. I have one I hate in a catalog, but she is the owner of the line. Retire, please.

I think this model (from their wedding line) might be the most beautiful person I've ever seen.
(This version of the photo is crappy--weird red hue)

There's one VS model that men seem to love but I can't stand her face for photos. In movement/video she's pretty but she looks like a drooling zombie in all her photos. Mouth hanging open, forehead tilted forward, eyes big and staring- Adriana Lima

GAH! I would rather see brown teeth than that huge tooth gap. Should have had her tongue tie clipped as a baby. Something about that particular tooth problem makes me think uneducated.

I was so hoping someone else shared my completely ridiculous hatred of one of the Lands End models. I just see her and want her to leave the catalogue and never return.

Turns out you have company, OP!

I thought Anthropolgie had gone bankrupt? They were barreling in that direction.

I think every catalog shows them with their mouths open more often than not.

Maybe it's left over from the days when good teeth were a rare thing?
