| My husband is going to be away and I need to have pio and estrogen shots in my hip. I don't think I can do them myself and nobody that I've told about fertility treatments can do it. I think my only option is to hire someone the few nights my DH is away. Does anyone have someone to recommend in NOVA? Also, how much does it cost? I might end up trying to do it myself but the hip seems difficult. |
| I did all of mine. Where there's a will, there's a way. |
| Do it yourself! If you do it correctly you barely notice it. |
| Do it yourself. I was scared the first few times but it's pretty easy. Practice while your husband is still home... |
| My nurse at SG told me she would do it for me when my husband went put of town. I ended up not needing her but she offered. Not sure if all nurses will do this. I would have had to go to SG right before she left for the day but that would have been way better than tryin myself. Hope you find someone! |
| Any home health agency can send a nurse out for you. |
What a stupid uninformed assumption. Only if OP has insurance with a home health benefit. And then, the service provided would have to be deemed necessary to require a nurse, and if you can give yourself the injection, it's probably not covered. |
You can pay cash. |
Why are you so angry? |
Duh, you pay out of pocket. |
| I had the nurse at the clinic draw a circle with a magic market on my hip were the shot should be. This made it much easier. |

| Emily Clarke (CFA) will come to your home. |
| I had to do a few of them myself and it was not nearly as bad as i thought it'd be. I recommend looking on youtube to see how to do it yourself and give it a try. good luck! |
| Not a fan of Emily Clarke. She took my extra needles. |
