All told, we give an amount equal to about 50% tuition. (In addition to full tuition, of course).

wow - ok, I wasn't expecting that. Is that the norm at your school? Sounds really high.

I honestly have no idea what others give.

We don't give nearly that; we can't! We pay full tuition (~33K) and give about 10 percent between the annual fund, the auction, and miscellaneous items.

We gave $250, but it is a struggle for us to pay the tuition.

We give 50 percent of tuition. We will have two in next year but the giving will stay at 50 percent of one tuition.

Multiple people at 50% of tuition?

We gave $2,500 at our non big 3 k-8 school and were in the top 10% of annual fund parent donors. We also gave $25,000 for a capital campaign.

OP, if you really are looking to crowd source this just look at the giving levels and the number of people in each level in your school's annual report. They all do them. You can ask for one from the development office but they are often on a password protected area of the website as well.

We gave $1,000 at our small parochial school.

We are on some financial aid but we give $250 so they can have the high percentage of involvement.

Our school has a book that shows the donors and there are not that many that donate over 10K a year. But kudos to them because they are helping my child and it is very appreciative. Many pay under $1000 and a lot between $1000-$5000. The schools really want the participation so anything over $1 helps.

Hope this helps.

I gave $5 so that they can claim 100% of students donate. But I can't really afford it.

$750 for annual fund and $750 for scholarship auction (plus some auction purchases - but those are often 'good deals' on things I might buy anyway)
