My wedding ring keeps falling off

Anonymous
It just slips right off. I've never resized it. What do I do? Where do I go? What if it gets stolen? Help.

Oh my! OP I wish I could help you but I don't have any ideas! That sounds terrifying and insurmountable. Hugs.

That's how DH lost his years ago. He lost some weight and suddenly the ring was gone. (I was with him when it happened.) He has never bothered to replace it, though.

Go to a jeweler. They can resize it or give it a guard thingy that will help.

Get a cheap imitation and wear that if you do not want your ring to be resized. Else there are other options to make it tighter. I would just keep the real ring in the safe and wear an imitation.

How do you make sure it doesn't get stolen?

Wait until menopause. Then it will fit.

Jewelers don't go around stealing people's jewelry.

Go to a reputable jeweler.

I had mine resized at Boone's downtown after losing considerable weight. They did an excellent job.

I had my wedding and engagement rings resized twice. I just went to a jeweler and I never thought about them stealing my rings. Why on Earth would they steal your ring? Unless your ring is a million dollar ring or something, I am sure a jeweler probably has more expensive jewelry anyway. This seems like an odd concern.

Get it resized.
My DH's ring became loose after be lost a lot of weight. It rolled under the car seat and we've been unable to fish it out. Hope its still there!

Aw, OP. It's easy to get a ring resized.

It's much harder not to be an idiot who can't take care of herself even in very easy "predicaments" like this one. You're going to have a rough 50-60 years before you die, honey.
