What do you wear to bed? Does it have an effect on your sex life?

Anonymous
I'm a DH and tend to wear boxers or shorts. I've occasionally wondered if wearing nicer/cooler ones or maybe nothing at all to bed would have an effect on whether my wife wanted to have sex. Certainly when she's wearing a short night gown and I catch a flash of leg on her way to bed, I feel inspired. When she's wearing an especially ratty t-shirt or, god forbid, the flannel armor with knee socks, it has the opposite effect. We'll never be the type of couple that sleeps naked, but I'll bet if we did, we would have more sex.

Anyway, curious whether other people think night attire matters one way or the other.

DH is that you? I don't car what you wear to bed because it's coming off. I guess I should trash my flannel armor and knee socks!

I hate that my husband wears tightie whities. Very juvenile and unsexy. But other than that, it doesn't matter.

This is kind of funny because I just ordered a bunch of cute nightgowns because I realized my sleep attire is a bit dumpy. DH seems to be perpetually in the mood, but he has requested I stop wearing his old t-shirts to bed. Hence my new purchases.

As far as him, I actually prefer him to wear underwear to bed. I would be displeased with tightie whities or underwear with holes in them, etc.

Dh gave me a come to Jesus talk about my nick and Nora pjs that I thought were oh so cute. Yeah he didn't agree. Now I just wear them on trips with the girls and wear chemises or nothing at home. He wears boxer briefs.

DH's CPAP is really a turn on.

Unless she's on her period and it's a heavy flow day, we both sleep naked.

From time to time, she surprises me with sexy lingerie, or wearing panties and my shirt - all of which quickly come off.

Either way, we are both always turned on, highly attracted to each other and there's never an issue of who initiates - she's constantly horny and we fuck like rabbits.

I don't care what DH wears to sleep in. If I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood and the clothing is coming off.

When my DH wears tightie whities I call them his big boy underpants.

You mean little boy, right? Little boys wear tighty whities, not big boys.

My husband wears a t-shirt and no boxers and frankly, I hate it. It's pretty much the opposite of sexy.

Oh, man. I'm a guy - I would be so uncomfortable sleeping like that. I hate sleeping with a shirt on.

Husband wears boxers. Anything trendy would be a turnoff for me. I wear pjs that have cami or lacy top so o can be sexy in bed, but through a shirt or cardigan on if I have to get up with kids.
