And if so, do you think that anything that's been posted on this forum or the political forum is aiding in any way? or am I being a silly? |

By "aiding" I mean that there are people on DCUM that seem to have quite a bit of esoteric information on matters related to US defense. I don't hang out on the political forum but i have to think that some of this information that I am referring to is on there...somewhere.... |

Point being, OP, that this is a forum for moms and dads. Granted, some posters are fairly aggressive, and there are a few that are actually vicious. I'm getting a visual right now of terrorists sobbing wildly as they read the cruel responses - handiwork of DCUM's finest - to their posts. But I jest. |

| OP, there could be some material providing leads for phishing or social engineering, but you can say that about any resource. I realize that being paranoid doesn't mean you're not being watched, but still... Chances of that are pretty low. You'll be just fine. |

| My family is Egyptian and I used to post on an Egyptian board, similar to this one, actually. There were occasional fundamentalists who liked to post stupid shit, and had their avatars showing them posing with AK 47s and stuff. I haven't seen "anything" here like what I saw on that board. |
