I thought it looked like a dress for a cocktail hour or wedding, not at all appropriate for an evening political address in February. I like her but really feel she needed to be in a suit. Did you like it? |
I thought she looked gorgeous! |
Right, she did look good but was it appropriate attire for the event? |
What, you wanted her to show up in pearls and a dowdy suit? She's no Barbara Bush, my dear! |
I'm not citicizing what she wore, I liked the dress. I have seen her in great suits that aren't dowdy. Regardless of it being Michelle Obama I thought it was not appropriate for the event. |
I agree. It is 20 degrees outside and oonce again she is wearing a sleeveless dress. She is trying to hard to make a statement. |
Right! I do not dislike her at all but the fact she is "Michelle Obama" doesn't meant you wear cocktail dresses to events that require a suit. The dress was great but not for a congressional address in February. |
Puleese - DC people are so pretentious and so lacking in style that it is ridiculous! |
She looked simply dazzling. Mrs. Obama has wonderfully developed delts and biceps. She's my inspiration to take better care of my body. |
Picture, please? |
It was on tv last night, you can probably find it online or in at The Post. |
I'm from Chicago as well, not DC and I agree with you. I still would not have worn that last night. |
It is her constitutional right to "bare arms". And be careful about knocking her - she might choke you with those powerhouse arms!
I personally think she looked fine. I am not a fan of suits - I look horrible in them and maybe she feels the same way. |
I'm a product of California and I find that her dress looks elegant. It's not for everyone (especially if you don't have the arms for it) but nothing wrong with bare arms. If you got it, flaunt it! |
I thought it looked like a cocktail dress too. Definitely wrong for the occasion. But she needs to play up her arms to play down her hips and butt, which are huge/fat. |
