Are these all the same person?

There are often posts that tell what sound like tall tale stories and use lots of bold/italics/underlines/punctuations. Most of the stories sound somewhat unrealistic. Are they all the same person? It doesn't much matter, but people seem to fall for them.

Here are some examples. There are many more, but these are all from this week.

I ordinarily wouldn't comment on this sort of thing unless the posts were clearly problematic and these posts generally seem fine to me. But, I am extremely impressed with your ability to spot these posts. Yes, they do seem to be by the same poster. But, again, unless there is something about the threads that I missed, they seem pretty harmless. Eminem did out himself in "The Interview", though I hope the poster knows that was a fictional movie. Apologies to the poster in question if my confirming your query upsets her.

Thank you for confirming to me that I am not imagining things. Happy Boxing Day to you and your family!

I kept wondering the same thing about the Christmas at McDonalds thread in FR.

I always spot that poster as well. There are several tells, the number of paragraphs like 5-8 (typical DCUM posts are one or two), next to last paragraph is usually the shortest or only one sentence, and topic is usually about one specific event.

Are you replying to my post (10:33)?

Good work OP!

I am impressed!!

Yes, I do admit I have a very unique and distinguished writing style and yes those are all my posts.

I didn't think there was a limit to how many posts I could post in a month or week so my apologies to you Jeff if I violated any Terms of Agreement for this website.

I am 100% honest in my postings, except for the nanny ones. I have to change a few details just in case my bosses come on here because I don't want to get sued for providing too much information about their child.

But other than that, I don't see what I did was so bad. Nothing in my posts are lies.

I do have a crush on Eminem and always have. I did see "The Interview" and was very disheartened to see the gay segment. ;'( and still am, but am cheered up since many people have told me they believe it was purely satirical comedy.

I did have that issue with my youngest son, but thankfully his visit with me this Christmas holiday is going much better thanks to the splendid advice I received from the Family discussion forum. He is actually behaving quite well I am happy to report.

And I just posted another post in the Off Topic you will see about my car issue and will again (!) recognize my distinct writing style.

I assure you, I am not a troll.

I have very nice, shiny healthy hair that I comb on a daily basis thank you.

So you have a 22 year old son and are still worried that the dad is hitting on you, the babysitter? You're probably older than his wife!

A man can't want anyone older than his wife? What?

For the record, I am a very lovely 45 yr. old woman, and yes, I did think he could have possibly been flirting with me, but I wasn't sure.

And just because I am 45, does not make me chopped liver by the way. I.e., J Lo, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, and Debra Messing are all beautiful women in their mid-forties who are not chopped liver.

And so there you go my friend.
