Post your plans if Trump is re-elected

While this is a fun idea, having a bunch of law-abiding black people with guns will have the opposite impact. It will increase the number of gun owners. And the use of the guns by legal folks will continue to be small.

Why on earth would you think Trump voters won’t vote this time?

It's a somewhat unverifiable opinion.

I don't like Trump as a person, but his policy agenda has been mostly rather good for someone who believes in generally conservative principles on economics and national integrity.

So I'll be there voting for him, and much less unwilling to do so than last time.

+1

A general sentiment I’ve heard across the board. He’s actually done what he said he’d do. People are pleased.

Same. I’ll actually vote this time!

Well, Trump has now set a strong precedence of retaliation....

Is he throwing people in oubliettes or firing/having them transferred?

Don't give him any ideas. So what kind of retaliation is OK? Asking for a friend.

People who want to work against him or just don't agree with his policies should work elsewhere. It's a big country with plenty of alternatives. If I publicly spoke up against my boss I'd expect to be looking for a new job.

There is a whole party of people that would promote the books/ podcasts/youtube channels of the newly unemployed, plus I'm sure lots of opportunity to appear on tv as a commentator or get a consultant job or something.

If your boss was breaking the law and you were called to testify against him what would you do? Tell the truth or not?

And if he later fired you think that'd be OK?

If your boss were the POTUS and retaliation was against the law (https://osc.gov/Services/Pages/PPP.aspx) you'd still think it's OK?

If the boss is acquitted expect to be fired for trying to get him convicted, yeah.

As long as he doesn't make me disappear I'm cool to go get another job after standing up for my beliefs.

So if you are telling the truth and he gets acquitted then it's your bad?

And you are OK with the POTUS breaking the law?

I wasn't okay with Obama ordering the extra judicial killing of an American overseas or DACA.

OK...can you answer the questions:

So if you are telling the truth and he gets acquitted then it's your bad?

And you are OK with the POTUS breaking the law?

It's not "my bad" it's an unfortunate consequence of standing up for my beliefs.

I was hoping the Dems would actually charge Trump with a crime, weren't they talking bribery? Why didn't they charge him with that?

I wish Congress would have thrown Obama out on his ear after he executed an American without a trial.

Are you okay with presidents assassinating American citizens as long as they look awesome in a tan suit and have pretty manners?

(Not including bowing to foreign leaders. That was horrible etiquette)

So it's NOT OK for Trump to break the law?

Who exactly would charge Trump? Barr?

Trump is above the law as the GOP just demonstrated.

Well according to the legal process he did not break the law. So there’s that.

If I told the truth and he was the prez and I was that opposed to what he did I would have resigned from his administration long before
he’d have a chance to fire me. Who wants to work for someone you think is a scum bag?

Isn't he breaking these laws by retaliating:

1) DOJ Guidelines = President cannot be indicted for a crime, resolution is impeachment;
2) Impeachment need not outline crimes, don't want to create an issue should removed president needs to be indicted for crime, thus
3) House impeachment outlines the contours of a crime without citing statue, because statutory law need not be cited, per US Constitution

This was explained about a million times in the impeachment thread and by the House Managers during the impeachment trial. It is a total red-herring that the House did not charge statutory crimes and a cop out for anyone to continue to cite it at this juncture.

PS, read the Article 1 facts, it outlines bribery.
