Nice to know your one school system only takes aged boomer opinions into account. |
You aren’t entirely wrong. Childless boomers are making a lot of the decisions when it comes to schools. I however am an engaged member of gen x. These issues are complex. Take some time to get up to speed. |
Some of us are just quicker than you, I guess. Probably seemed like a good idea to buy in Nauck when you were straight outta grad school. |
Well, you’re not that up to speed. You don’t even know that Nauck isn’t zone Kenmore- not in any scenario. Get the lay of the land, then come back. |
| The thing keeps amazing me is how many people in M Arlington have no real idea of where anything in S Arlington is.... |
We know where the soccer fields are. |
And you have no problem driving to them. Just like you won’t have a problem getting to Kenmore. |
Not on the chopping block in any scenario. Try harder. |
| This debate has raged on since the beginning of public schools and it will never end. At the end of the day, this is the problem: No one wants to go to school with the poors. The poors do not want to go to school with the poors. Every post here results from this fundamental truth. We all love diversity, provided there are no poors. |
Ok. So what are you whining about? |
| I am relatively new to Arlington. Can someone get me up to speed on what the School Board really listens to in this process? Is it the personal stories, website feedback, petitions, wearing matching shirts at meetings? What really works vs what is just wasting time? |
You’re mistaken if you think I’ve been whining. No surprise there. |
Maybe Arlington should've thought about that before, you know, encouraging this whole outcome. How about letting the market work. Oh nevemind. That would be too easy. |
Let me reiterate: Thank God my youngest kids are in 8th grade. You idiots deserve all this. After all, it's the Arlington Way.
|
It's the shirts. Choose your color wisely. Just kidding. Sort of. |
