To any of the former or current interns reading this board, random question, but they make a big deal out of it on the show...How often are the names of callers actually messed up or do they simply misread the screen?

Also, if you care to share, how often are the callers fake and just used to promote how great the show and/or cast are?

I heard him get pissed but I wasn't paying attention. I was daydreaming, but when he got pissed, it jarred me back to reality. It was very uncomfortable. I've tried listening to the podcast but much is cut from it. It may have been related to the revenge surgery segment. Did Natasha get a boob job before she left him? Did Danni?

I started listening to TKS after I heard it mentioned from Elvis Duran and his morning show. I tuned in to the replays starting about a year before the Natasha-Split incident. The show has definitely gotten.....uncomfortable. Rose really doesn't add anything except awkward comments here& there that get ignored most of the time and Kane has gotten unrelatable. It's sad, actually. I think about the fact that being a 'radio personality' is his livelihood and his way to support his children. I hope for his sake he's stable and able to redeem himself.

What I think happened is that they got fed up with Danni being irrational, loud, emotional, and her missing so much work.

Danni was slowly breaking down.

Also the fact that Intern John doesn't like Danni. Kane knew this, and when a argument broke out with Danni and Kane, Kane chose to deal with it.

Agreed. Danni has gotten away with murder. She's been out sick way more than anyone else on the show. She was the only one I can remember who took time off for her own vacation (the no technology retreat, or whatever) while everyone else stayed on-air. I'm wondering if she used her postpartum anxiety or depression (or both) to justify all the time off. But she manages to always find energy/time to hustle other job opportunities. It's sketchy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got their off air co-workers (i.e. sales or engineering staff) or personal friends to call and kiss everyones ass.

Sarah confirmed on her podcast a few weeks ago that they do you have fake callers to call the show. She said, you ever wonder why most people sound so smooth like they've been talking on the radio their whole life and they're completely comfortable, and they don't sound nervous at all? It's because most are fake! I'm telling y'all, Sarah's podcast is where it's at! LOL she gives so much inside information about the radio industry.

Danni is a joke! Her days are numbered at TLC too. Kane is not jealous of her stupid little gig...she got that gig because of kane. I Remember When She Went On About Her Curly Hair AND How She Wants Her DAUGHTERS To Be A PROUD Of THEIR roots...PULEZE!! Then she posts a picture of a head shot with straight hair? Danni, sit down your 15 minutes is up!!

Hello there! Your regular friendly former intern =) When Kane asks people to call in about something THOSE are real listeners. And the whole misread name thing is either the intern typing it in wrong because the phone system sucks or the computer glitched. The calls during the show that were fake were usually the outrageous ones, like if a woman called because Kane cut her off or something. Stuff like that is fake. But calls like "Call in if you would do this." or the anyone listening who calls are real.

Does the show actually take calls live? Meaning that the intern screens you & such and Kane takes it live over the air and not pre-record calls during a song or commercial? I was thinking to get this on the air somehow, keep calling in because they'll eventually run out of delay and have to throw it to break or music awkwardly.

yes all of those calls are real and live. don't really have time to screen calls, record them, edit them, and then air them like the afternoon or night shows do.
