The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ~ New Season

She is the only one who finds the whole situation of screaming, insults, breaking glass, throat throttle, etc. - and then going out together the next day as if nothing at all happened - to be completely bizarre and unacceptable. I totally agree with her. Kim needs to apologize to her for those insults, and yet the very next morning she pretends like it didn't happen.

I understand Kim being sick to death of the constant discussion of her sobriety, but she still needs to make it right with Eileen.

I agree. Eileen had a great point when she said that as much as Kim complains about it being no one else's business, it becomes everyone's business when these things happen in front of all the other women. Eileen and Lisa r are not used to the secrecy that addicts use to shroud their lives, and I think it's actually very kind that they are willing to put themselves out there to try to address that. We have seen Lisa v and many others on the show try to address kims addictions and each one of them was met with the same angry stonewalling that kim directed at Lisa r and Eileen. It's either go along and pretend not to see kims unacceptable behavior, or be attached and have all hell break loose. I think it's really admirable that Lisa r and Eileen have done as much as they have to try to address kims issues, always doing it in a kind and understanding way.

She's constantly bragging about all of Gigi's success and when Gigi left for NY, Yolanda was a basket case. Not so much when Bella left.

I think part of talking about Gigi so much is to promote her as a model. Even less than Bella, we rarely even hear of Anwar.

I didn't even know Yolanda had a son until he showed up this season!

okay neither did i! was he in boarding school or something?

felt like a soap opera when a new kid just shows up in a family out of nowhere.

I remember Yolanda's son from a quick appearance in earlier seasons but he is rarely on the show.

I don't know, but he appeared for a brief moment in one show Yolanda's first season. He was younger and she probably did not want him exposed so much until he was older. I know not her reasons, but maybe the son does not want the attention he would receive from his friends.

I agree with this.

I don't think Lisa R would have inserted herself had she not been on that miserable car ride with Kim, who was waaaay out of control. I think she felt that she needed to get involved since she saw something none of the other ladies had (remember, they didn't see what happened in the car until they aired it).

And, this being their first time around, I am sure Lisa and Eileen are genuinely trying to help but the other ladies, who have already tried to help, are backing down since they know Kim won't change.

I had seen him on Instagram. I don't think Yolanda hides him per se, but he's still in school while the other two have modeling careers that are benefitted by exposure, so of course they will be on more. He seems kind of shy, too, from Instagram at least.

Yes. I almost wonder if that car ride was a cry for help from kim to Lisa- it was so over the top and crazy. She didn't even know Lisa that well at that point and you would think, if she knew she was going to pop a pill, she would have tried to rearrange and go with someone she knew wouldn't blow her cover, like brandi or Kyle. I felt like Lisa was presented with kims fall from sobriety, and given her family history, of course she was concerned and wanting to help.

Question about the pill Kim took - why on earth did Monty urge her to take it??? Surely he's very familiar with her sobriety struggles. No one seems to be asking why someone close to her would have allowed her - encouraged her - to take something.

I think Kim makes it other people's business when she is obviously high and awful to them (e.g. The car ride with Lisa R.) that was scary and uncomfortable to watch from the comfort of my couch. I can't imagine being in Lisa R's shoes for that.

Anwar is a 16 year old boy who probably has no interest in being on this show. But putting Gigi and Bella on gave them valuable exposure for their modeling careers.

I'm guessing that's her "story". It's easier to blame someone else than it is to take responsibility for yourself.

Agree. When he was on the show he seemed pretty embarrassed the whole time, just eating his breakfast. I doubt it's considered very cool to be on a reality show with your mom at that age.

Eileen is seriously the voice of reason on that show. I thought she called out the bullshit really nicely, and kind of stopped everyone from doing that bizarre charade.

Brandi is unhinged once again. I find myself wondering how she's even gotten through her life thus far when she seems to have no grasp whatsoever of social norms and boundaries.

+1 on Eileen.

With Brandi, her behavior is her brand. It sells her books, her appearances, and her radio show. I think her behavior is so egregious to people she just doesn't care about. And since she makes money off of the behavior she has no reason to change.

Slapping Lisa? That was over the top -- even for Brandi.
