It’s exactly why it’s bad law for public safety. The rules need to be clear and enforceable. This is the precise reason why safety advocates request stop signs in the first place. |
What’s going to happen now that DCPS has laid off PE teachers. They still going to pay millions to WABA for this grifting? |
Please don't speak for cyclists. That refers to you and the PP. I know exactly how to Idaho stop, as well as the benefits it provides to the public |
Clearly you don't understand Idaho stops. If there's a car at the intersection, the bicyclist must stop at the stop sign. They can only go through them when no one else has the right of way. |
Why does it have to be a form of transportation? No one needs to ride a bike to get anywhere. They can take the bus or the metro or walk or Uber or drive. Riding a bike is a hobby, just like collecting poisonous snakes. |
What about horses, donkeys, mules, or ox? Or even a dog sled? What about canoes and kayaks? Not that you mention it, we should be more like the Netherlands. Let's ice the cycle tracks during winter so people can skate. Or maybe Norway is preferred and we can ski. |
Damn. Wish they didn't have them on Old Georgetown Road either. Lucky for those who live on/near CT Ave |
No one needs to drive anywhere. Cars are much more harmful to the environment and a danger to people on foot and cyclists. Cars should be banned and you can just take a bus or walk, uber or ride a bike. (see how that works?) |
I don't think you know how Uber works |
No. The main thing you proved if that you're not very bright. |
contempt for traffic laws is like a virus, and it's being spread by bicyclists. |
Over 5500 car crashes in dc last year compared to nine accidents caused by bikes. Please refrain from spreading more lies https://www.reddit.com/r/washingtondc/s/bAV6mujKhT |
Now to bring back the rush hour lane shifts!!!! |
Yes, it is a car, like a taxi. |
Those will never come back. We will get 24/7 parking on both sides of the street, with no rush hour restrictions. |
