I love how everyone assumed Brave is the issue. Maybe ML in trouble and none of you parents were the wiser. I heard about trouble all season with ML on my DS team. This is rich if it’s true. Maybe Brave is bailing out ML!

Mclean tryouts and player selection for ECNL were a nightmare. Parents and players hated it, toxic place.

This will make the girls program stronger but only if it’s announced soon and ID sessions are scheduled. Otherwise Brave & Union girls may go to other teams.

The process, if it happens, will be misery. 30+ ECNL players for each age group? Very sucky process and many will be cut off.

Without a job in the NFL for the first time since 1974, former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is headed back to college to teach a clinic in Nebraska.

Even one of the best NFL football coaches found his way into semi-retirement. Why can’t Fairfax Brave be responsible and do the same thing? Just look at their win/loss records. Can’t blame it entirely on the players. Who selected them?

Terrible comparison. Belichick got lucky with Brady. Belichick without Brady is mediocre.

Curious to see if the practices will be split between the two clubs’ existing fields like with the SYC partnership.

Email went out in February stating rolling offers starting March and existing players would be the priority as their philosophy “is to build from within and supplement from outside”

Offers didn’t go out until late April/May once ID sessions were over. They had to make sure they had everyone from “the outside” they wanted before committing to existing players.

While it’s understood this is part of the process, doing this as late as they did left some without a team to go to.

Mclean record for boys is awful.... have you seen? Brave boys have better results. Girls are about the same.
