Roman, as the middle child of three (they forget about Connor so I guess we will too) and the second son, was ignored and heavily criticized (and maybe hit) by his dad, had no opportunity to develop a sense of self in a nurturing family environment, so he's incredibly insecure and hides behind humor and sarcasm to mask the fact that he is in pretty much constant need of the validation he never received as a child.

They have never said the order of the kids ages.

I'm the PP who predicted they'd both be in the works! Y'all told me they were both totally out of the picture but I knew they'd be around.

I was surprised by how the board vote was handled though, with it not even being shows and just seeing the behind the scenes stuff at Logan's apartment with the kids. I get the choice, but I was expecting the vote to be more of a set piece for the show.

Shiv is the youngest? Wow, I didn't realize that. Still, I'd say she's no younger than 35. Then Roman would be 37-38. Kendall 40-41, depending on how much time has elapsed.

It's been confirmed, though. Sarah Snook has talked about Shiv being the baby of the family in interviews. She's the youngest, and we know Connor is the oldest and Kendall the oldest of the group of three.

Uh, no? We know Kendall is older than Roman. That's not ambiguous. And that Connor is older than all of them. The only thing that is ambiguous is whether Shiv or Roman is older, but since Shiv is the only girl, it's not ambiguous which one is her in the opening credits.
